sata cables

bought some of these from digikey-

not what i expected, ribbon thin without the typical pvc coating. 3 or 4 packed together equal the thickness of a normal sata cable. they look like aluminum foil with a urathane coating. not sure if i should ditch'em or buy more
what ya think?
