ok, i know there are about a million posts about people having problems with these, and ive searched for about an hour, but i cant find a specific solution

i have an
asus a7nxe-d
sata 80 gig seagate

I want to do a fresh install of win2000, but i cant install that until the drivers for the HD are installed
i downloaded drivers the other day, which i put on floppies, but the system doesnt work...

what do i do next? i have the latest (i think) drivers for the sata HD, which are on floppies, but im stuck....

i would appreciate any help

still trying to get this to work, and i tried installing 2000 pro, then pressing f6 when it asks for any other disk drivers....the system wont respond, it just continues with install...

any comments?
 
maybe your not hitting f6 fast enough. Try a few times, if the window doesn't come up, then something is prolly whack with your cd.
 
thanks i figured it out.... it wasnt the f6 thing, but some other drivers and stuff i had to change
