Hah, I'm done with that stupid SAT I!

But I have to do SAT IIs :(

Took the US History one today, a lot of the questions were the exact same as one's in yesterday's AP!

Wasn't that bad? Yeah right it's 4 hours long. Glad I got a 2200 and will never have to think about it again.

I'm skipping that SAT crap.

I'm taking 30+ credit hours at a junior college and then transfering to a University.

IMHO, its easier to just take the SAT :p

just stay focused for 4 hours. do that, and you can get a good score.

I don't know that it was ignorant, just off topic. Amol thinks that it's easier to get into a U by getting a good SAT score than it is by transferring from a juco - whats wrong with that?

ya it was really long! Also, how in the world did you get a 2200, that's INCREDIBLE.

2200 is a rather good score, but I wouldn't go so far as to call it INCREDIBLE, and a 3-4hour test really isn't that bad after taking so many APs and such

A 4 hour test vs. taking 30+ credit hours. I think the former is easier.

Besides, it's my opinion. I took the SAT when I was 15 and got a 2290, so, I think taking the SAT is easier.

QFT

Really, all you have to do is wake up at around 7ish, take some water and granola bars, and just focus.

Yes, but my choice is WAY cheaper. If someone doesn't have any scholarships or aid (me) then it is better to pay $700 to take the easy credits at a juco then it is to pay $10,000 to take the same classes (only way harder).

I would beg to differ, a lot of it has to do with what your educational environment has taught you over the years.

Example: I am from Idaho and am in the top 10% of my state. I have won various national awards and competitions. I scored a 1750 on the SAT and that seems to be on the high end of the spectrum of everyone here. In perspective, no one from my school scored over a 2000, and we're considered one of the best schools in the state.
