SAT II question

there are two Math Level SAT II, Level 1 and Level II. Level II is little harder.

question is.

do colleges care level 1 or level 2? Most colleges don't mention which one, just Math subject. However, do they credit for level 2 takers?

Does anyone have taken level 2? How hard is it?

thanks for info.

it depends on the college, and the major you are looking at.

If you want to go into engineering they most likely will want to see Level II, but if you want to major in something like Bio, level I is fine, technical schools like MIT or RPI are more likely to want to see the Level II

I took the Math IIC about a year ago after my Pre-Calculus class ended, and I found that there was nothing on there I didn't know (unlike the SAT I Math, the Math IIC is more a test of what you know).

Head here for more info about the test.

Good Luck!

Try taking both. The curve on SAT II math is a LOT more generous. I took both and scored higher on the SATII than SATI's. I was about 2 months into ap calc bc before while taking the SAT II. So you don't really need to know a lot of calc. I'm guessing if you're going into engineering or physics etc, the college might place some emphasis on taking the SAT II's. I'd still take it because it looks better 🙂
