I wouldn't be too upset when Donald Trump lets down his base.
Its called being conned and lied to by a con artist.
Donald said a lot and promised a lot that is not the American way nor in the nature of what American history stands for.
People like healthcare and the protections enacted thru Obamacare.
People like government as a whole including airport security and national parks and border patrol and air traffic control.
Just because some Donald Trump said he doesn't should mean nothing to anyone. Especially people attending those Trump rallies.

Republicans have no desire to fix immigration. Hell, trumps proposals are simply undoing things he did himself. DACA? Who suspended that? Trump. TPS(s)? Another suspension by trump. His negotiation tactics amount to, I'll undo all the things I fucked up if you give me everything I want.

Called that back when the shutdown first started. Trump is just learning how fucked he is. His base won't allow him to give an inch on the wall or DACA. He has no cards to play other than fake ones that still piss off his people.

I truly do not understand that 'friendship'. They are so ideologically opposed to one another, I just don't see how they'd not perpetually fight. I mean, they could talk sports or music or something, but eventually it's going to steer towards politics/religion/etc.
She's not a good person, not at all. And he's not all that swell either.

Got to admit The Donald has a lot of chutzpah in his negotiating techniques:

(1) Floats a proposal in a public "major national speech" without running any part of it by the other side first,

(2) His solution is basically a temporary stay of the problem HE CAUSED (fiat DACA revocation) in exchange for 100% of what he wants now.

I wish this fool would actually start to govern rather than having endless dog and pony shows and crisis's manufactured by him.

He better end his lockout soon or he's going to tip the USA into his recession prematurely-on top of the huge federal budget deficits he has caused.

Yup, this was nothing more than a laughable attempt at a PR stunt. He goes on and on about drugs getting into the country because we lack a wall, F-ing retard. Anyone smuggling cocaine, fentynal will just send it through in vehicles, well hidden, If that got to bad then they have actually built one-time use submarines to ferry $10-20 million worth in one pop. Yet this asshole thinks a wall that can be defeated with $100 worth of tools available at Lowes will somehow be the answer.

That's the problem with most Politicians/Celebrities, we know their positions on various issues, but don't really know them on a personal level. Most of us could possibly like her if we knew her, especially if we didn't know her positions on certain issues.
