I think it is supposed to be on the wall and gov closure. Any opinions on what he will say. I heard one pungent say he will hand the problem to the turtle who will allow the Senate to vote.

My guess is more nothingburgers but I wonder if maybe he’ll go, Wall is a national emergency. I think his Presidency is effectively over so he may not care.
 
It's big league, and he will be resigning. It will be the big leaguest resignation ever. Tremendous. No President in history will have resigned bigger.
 
The scuttlebutt is that he won't declare a National Emergency, but he'll announce some new deal to open the government that is the brainchild of Jared, Pence and Mitch. Yes, no Democrats were involved, so the idea will likely fail miserably.
 
Reports is that Trump isn't exercising extraordinary measures. He'll offer a "compromise" that Dems can't accept and IMO talk about how Mueller has vindicated Trump and Buzzfeed proves "FAKE NEWS" along with the usual bravado and shots at Pelosi.

My guess is some kind of meek compromise like approve 3 billion for wall and we’ll talk about DACA when Government opens
Then followed by a campaign rally off the TelePrompTer talk about how Democrats hate the military and don’t want them to be paid, Democrats want open borders and a bunch of other MAGA shit.
 
He's butthurt by the latest polls and just wants to make it look like he's willing to negotiate and that it's the democrats that are causing the shutdown. Plus, there's a new caravan full of bad hombres. He's already tweeted this morning about the new caravan.

Did the last caravan get through the border? Nope. I just hope the dems don't trust him and cave. If they do, they just handed him the 2020 election.

Dems yesterday just offered a 1B increase for border security so it takes away that talking point.
 
I wonder if federal aid/assistance will not be available for the pending storm that’s going to hit a good chunk of the Northeast?

Not that we need it because we have a responsible taxation and budgeting process.

He will declare a national emergency in response to the "not entirely accurate" Buzzfeed report that all media is crooked and lying, and that all media stations are now being confiscated by the big important government so that fake news is now illegal and impossible because Trump is great, huge ideas, really tremendous, now we will have the most honest and smart news, because now Trump is the news media.
