SAS HD/controller question

I was gifted one of this SSD https://www.hgst.com/sites/default/files/resources/USSSD400M_DS.pdf since I don't know much about SAS what's the cheapest controller/cable I need to hook it up?

Newegg? Nah - get a used one on eBay. Slightly out of date server gear (like SAS controllers) is super-cheap. Or at least half-price-ish.

Cables can be a little confusing, since there's a bunch of different connector standards, but you'll need something like this to plug a drive in. (Otherwise you gotta mess around with backplanes and whatnot.)
