McCain was the agent of experience. In the debate he talked about all the people he knows and all the places he's been and then he picked Palin and became the agent of change too. If he dies we will have nothing we were suggested we'd get if we voted for him. We will have somebody with no national experience at all.

As to the debate, I expect Palin to do fantastically even if it's just sympathy that she gets. A stunning performance, however, in my opinion is irrelevant. She has no real experience and is a fundamentalist. Not good for a secular country. She's American Taliban.

I think she will do just fine in the debate. It is such a highly scripted event that even she should be able to get through it without too much trouble. Due to the debate rules Biden isn't even allowed to address her, so it's more just 2 press conferences taking place in the same room.

That being said, are you fucking kidding me? You're honestly trying to tell me at this point that Palin hasn't shown an embarrassing lack of knowledge and ability? It's not just the media and the public that know it, McCain knows it too. Why do you think they don't let her talk to the media... or anyone else for that matter? Can you believe that? Not necessarily. This country has a habit of reinventing itself so I think we can do that with a forward-looking Presidency. McCain (too old for his own good) and Palin (too conservative for her own good) are not forward-looking.
