So in my mail today was a letter from the Office Of Governor Of Alaska and here it is:

I didn't know what to make of receiving this especially since they even included my middle initial on the envelope. So she was apparently well received at the recent Republican Governors convention, but to keep her name out there she is reduced to being a pimp for Alaska tourism. Ok so I didn't vote for her. Even if I had not been for another team I would have voted against whatever team she was on to keep her from being a heartbeat away from the Presidency. Sorry Sarah, but I won't be coming to Alaska anytime soon. You see, I really don't like cold weather, or you, for that matter. I may send off for the brochure though.

It is more that the tourism board for Alaska obtained your name from a mailing list of some sort.

If you were on a Republican mailing list, they are attempting to leverage her name for the state.
 
The thing is I'm not on any Republican mailing lists and any sort of tourist mailing list I might have made it to definitely don't have my middle initial.
 
Just reported on MSNBC Sarah Palin may be in the works for a $7 million book deal. I guess she will no longer need her job as governor with it's ridiculous per diem pay for staying at home. Nor will she need to pimp out her state's tourism.

Yep. Same with Bloomberg here in NYC. This is a non-issue.

 
I didn't post this as something to take issue with. I have never received any sort of mail from a Governor and found it amusing that she would flood the country with Alaska tourism mail to keep her name out there.

And that is your problem. You are attempting to tie her name (politically) in with the tourism board (promotionaly).

As others have stated, it is common occurance for the governor's name/sig to go oiut under correspondence.

 
I'd fly up to use her as a cum dumpster. That's about all she is useful for.
