So in my mail today was a letter from the Office Of Governor Of Alaska and here it is:
"Dear Neighbor,
As Governor of Alaska, I am pleased to tell you about a very special offer: now you can receive an official Alaska travel guide - absolutely FREE. This isn't some skimpy brochure - this is a full-color publication, as bold and exciting as Alaska. Just imagine.
-Watchable wildlife, outdoor photography, camping, fishing, clamming, hunting,
hiking , and nature walks.
-Breathtaking glaciers, deepblue fjords, the midnight sun or dazzling aurora borealis,
rain forests, volcanic landscapes and the Arctic Circle.
-Rafting, a dog sled ride, Eskimo blanket toss, panning for gold, relaxing in fine
restaurants, discovering our Alaska Native and Russian cultural roots.
To get full value out of your visit to Alaska, you'll want the free Alaska travel guide. You'll learn more about our comfortable weather - how easily you can visit us and much more!
I hope you'll come to Alaska soon, and I urge you to use the enclosed card to send for your free Alaska travel guide right away. It's an official publication, so there's no obligation. But please write today - we've run out of copies in the past. In the meantime, visit our website at TripToAlaska.com. We look forward to hearing from you.
With warm regards,
sig Sarah
Sarah Palin
Governor"
I didn't know what to make of receiving this especially since they even included my middle initial on the envelope. So she was apparently well received at the recent Republican Governors convention, but to keep her name out there she is reduced to being a pimp for Alaska tourism. Ok so I didn't vote for her. Even if I had not been for another team I would have voted against whatever team she was on to keep her from being a heartbeat away from the Presidency. Sorry Sarah, but I won't be coming to Alaska anytime soon. You see, I really don't like cold weather, or you, for that matter. I may send off for the brochure though.
