You didn't hear when the FBI guy mentioned that there was kevlar in the recliner? Pay more attention....

It wasn't Directv, because it played fine at my house.

hoping for a quick hit. Shameful to wreck a classic sci-fi film for this crap..

That is the saddest part. The franchise is probably ruined.

That ship sailed when T3 was made.

It coulda been worse; I think it has potential.

Yeah, T3 already did that.

The series is better than T3, and it is written assuming that T3 simply never happened.

But I liked T3. I wonder if that means, since I like this show, I can mindlessly like anything Terminator? :)

I liked T3 too. What exactly was so awful about it? He ripped a urinal off a wall and smashed in some chick's head with it. What more do you want?

Summer blowing away El Finisher was pretty cool.

It's funny how they're always leaving John alone - running off to do girly errands :)

...John's having funny feelings about Summer.

I got a joke...

Why did the terminator cross the road?

They never get to the other side!

While I agree the first two are much better, I liked T3 ok. The guy playing John sucked though (and there were some bad parts). Overall it just wasn't as good, and I think what really bothers the diehard fans is that it was actually kinda poking fun at itself (the one liners were cheezily forced whereas they were just cheesy in the other ones).

They are standing on the shoulders of 2 great movies and ignoring the failed abortion that was T3. The problem is a TV series doesn't have "epic movie" level budget and will suffer for it. To make up for the lack of unbridled "awesome" they will have to pull off some great story arc. That happening while the writers are on strike is not likely, I see this series trying to become like Dawson's creek with androids. Which sounds like it captures nobodies idea of a good time. But hey if they try to avoid the fact that he is 15 and all the teenage drama that goes with it, it might be watchable. Watchable until the real shows come back after the writers strike.

It could still happen, they just skipped over it.

Love the show.

I kind of like it so far. I'm just hoping the story line won't start sucking with the guy falling in love with the robot and having multiple episodes about his teenage angst.

If they want it to be good, every episode will have to revolve around the Skynet storyline. The writers better not pull a Jericho with episodes where the premise is something like the cyborgs deciding that they want to have a church picnic but they are fresh out of eggs.

When Sarah blew the terminator up the head came to the future with them. It bounced off the hood of a car and then landed by the side of the road.

So it looks like the entire body of that terminator also came through the time travel. How else did that arm pop out of the rubble at the construction site? Wonder if the engineers planted another time travel machine in 2007.

maybe the body was in the rubble of the door of the bank? and the body was just tossed for a good 8 years. Out of curiosity... was there even a bank in DC that got bulldozed for a road? that seems rather unlikely. yes, i know, it's a tv show.

DC? Weren't they in L.A.? A news report said that they were some pranksters on the 105? Which makes sense but the 105 was opened before 99 I believe, and it's a much bigger freeway than what the show had.

Agree. What was the need for the girl that killed herself? Did they need to introduce teenage issues into the show?

After watching prison break I was happy to see this come on.

I think its not bad to watch, but they need to speed up what they want to do each episode imo.

Since there is no 24, this is all we can have for now

this last episode was 80% suckage.

hope they pick it up for the next one....

seriously, the dude oxygenizes some blood, pours it into a bathtub, and the robot soaks himself in it, managing to grow tissue in a few hours? I missed a little bit of that (I was on the phone)....but c'mon! leave out the bad science and get to the shooting. If we have to sit through 3 more episodes of terminator restoring himself (preview seemed to hint at that) this show will be a disaster.
