Sarah Brady, the gun-grabbing hypocrite.

<< SARAH`S SHOCKING DISCLOSURE

Sarah Brady, Chair of the gun-ban lobby formerly known as HCI, may be in a
little trouble with the law. And the reason why is quite surprising.
According to the March 22 issue of the Daily News (N.Y.), Brady may have
violated the type of gun-control law she and her organization regularly
advocate. In her soon-to-be released book, "A Good Fight," the gun-ban
advocate reveals that in 2000, she bought a hunting rifle at a Delaware gun
shop for her son, who was 18 at the time.
And while Brady carefully
describes her experience, and the fact that the store clerk ran the required
background check on her, there is no mention of the store also running a
background check on her son -- a requirement under Delaware state law.

Amy Stillwell, a spokeswoman for the gun-ban lobby that now carries
Brady`s name, explained to the Daily News that federal law does not require
a background check on the son for this type of gift purchase, which is true.
However, Delaware Justice Department spokeswoman Lori Sitler indicated that
if Brady did not disclose the rifle was a gift for someone else, providing
information for a background check on the recipient, then the purchase may
have violated Delaware law. Sitler was quoted as saying, "You can`t
purchase a gun for someone else. That would be a straw purchase.` You`ve
got a problem right there."

This controversy highlights one interesting point. The fact is that
there are already so many laws on the books that regulate firearms that even
the nation`s foremost advocate of passing more laws may not be able to keep
track of what is already on the books. NRA-ILA Executive Director James Jay
Baker commented, "We hope that it`s innocuous and there`s been no laws
violated."

Some, no doubt, will be shocked to learn of the firearm purchase by
someone like Sarah Brady. NRA-ILA`s Baker observed, "It`s obviously
interesting that Sarah would be purchasing firearms of any kind for anybody,
given her championing of restrictive guns laws for everyone." Considering
that she and her organization regularly claim that "the safest thing [to do]
is not to keep a gun in the home," one wonders whether her son follows his
mother`s advice?
Or maybe he simply follows long-established firearm safety
and storage practices that keep responsible gun owners and their families
perfectly safe when they keep firearms in their homes. And there are also
the Brady warnings about "children" and firearms. These gun-ban lobbyists
regularly include individuals as old as 19 (and sometimes older) in their
statistics for "children."

Hell yeah! I'm giving Jane Brady (our state Attorney General) on the phone Monday, and asking her to indict Sarah's dumb ass. What a freaking idiot. Of all the states to do something like that, she had to do it in ours, where it's small enough that pretty much everyone in the entire state knows every statewide elected official personally.

You gun nuts are all alike. Thankfully you wild eyed wierdos will all day shoot yourselves and cure the gun problem in one fell swoop. Swoop I say!

Yet another in a growing laundry list of gun-banning hypocrites. This is becoming standard policy for gun-grabbers, actually. "Do as I say, not as I do."

Anyone remember leftist Washington pundit and gun-hating syndicated columnist Carl Rowan? The man who spent years demonizing the NRA, deploring and disparaging the 'white male redneck' gun culture that was responsible for the 'proliferation' of guns, and being a mouth-piece for antigun junk science?

Rowan comes home to his exclusive DC neighborhood one night and shoots some unarmed teenage kid for swimming in his pool. The unregistered handgun Rowan used was give to him by his son, an FBI Special Agent, and was owned and possessed by Rowan illegally. At a press conference, in response to criticism of Rowan's monumental hypocrisy, Rowan gave an inkling of what makes all gun-haters tick: "I don't give a damn if anyone says I'm a hypocrite." All the rules apply to you, not me.

Or, how about Michigan's Senator Murphy from Detroit? Murphy was an avid supporter of suing gun manufacturers like Glock for 'littering our neighborhoods with handguns', seeking tens of millions to reimburse the city for 'the costs of gun violence'. Murphy also has strong ties to gun-banning groups like the Michigan Partnership to Prevent Gun Violence.

When Murphy was still a Michigan Representative, he becomes furious one night after his wife didn't bring home any fried chicken from a picnic she had attended that day. Murphy then fetches his very own Glock 9mm semi-automatic pistol from his bedroom and threatens to kill his wife. Their terrified son runs next door and calls police. When police arrive, they find Murphy's Glock - loaded - and place him under arrest. Murphy begins cursing at and kicking police officers, they have to wrestle him into the patrol car.

At the pre-arraignment hearing for felonious assault with a firearm and misdemeanor domestic battery, Murphy's wife leaves before the hearing and refuses to testify as the plaintiff/witness. The judge dismisses all charges without prejudice, and the assistant prosecutor publicly avows to re-file charges after the investigation is completed. It never happens, the whole thing just mysteriously goes away into thin air.

That county prosecutor was none other than fellow Democrat and antigun ally of Murphy, the former head of the Michigan Partnership to Prevent Gun Violence, Andrea Solak. The head of the Wayne County prosecutor's office was also a former head of the Michigan Partnership to Prevent Gun Violence. Apparently, the MMPGV only avows to 'prevent gun violence' so long as it isn't being committed by one of their friends.

There was no word on whether Murphy, being such an advocate of suing gun manufacturers for the 'costs of gun violence', intends to reimburse Wayne County for the 'cost of gun violence' he commits. Murphy won his bid for a seat in the Michigan Senate a few months later, his district's constituency substantially resembling ones that sends corrupt and incompetent city officials like Marion Barry back to office over and over.

The list goes on and on, but you get the idea...

Yes, he is. If he ever bothered to do a bit a research, he'd quickly find out that criminals )like gang members and drug dealers), along with people with no weapons training are FAR more likely to accidently kill someone with a gun than either gun enthusiasts or NRA members would. The NRA trains people on how to use a gun PROPERLY, so they DON'T accidently shoot each other with them!

He was probably getting ready for yet another 'look at me, I'm a gimp, give my wife money' sympathy rally.
