OK...I pulled the trigger today on one. I just hope it's not too loud. Do you think it's as loud as my old X800XT PE?

I just installed the one i ordered last weekend and it's not that loud. The X850XT it replaced was quieter, but had an AC Silencer on it. Overall it's not loud at all.

If your x800xt pe still has the stock cooler, this is quieter.

$199AR now. 🙂 But the rebate is with myrebates411.com, which according to fw is a scam (google it).

Anyone have any comments on this card or myrebates411?

Since I missed out on the last 1950 Pro deal, I was thinking of getting this card now that it has dropped in price, but did anyone else see the last few reviews on Newegg from 1/29-1/30?

It just seemed odd that the card went from fairly good reviews to complaints about over heating, not being able to overclock etc. I know Newegg reviews are infamous for being slanted and misrepresentative reviews, but it still put up a warning flag for me.

Did anyone that get in the previous deal have any issues with their cards?

Hate to pull the trigger and deal with RMA issues again.

J~

Back up to $215AR. I hate when Newegg change their prices every 5 hours.

But it's worth a bump, any comments on this card?

my friend works at Best Buy, so he might be able to hook me up with the x1950xt for $150 🙂 after the employee discount, of course, is how i get that price

thats odd. I got mine. It was on a x1800xt. It did take a long time, but i did get it. i guess ymmv on those.

After doing the rebate with them I have heard of many people having the same issues with them, Reminded me of Soyo and the reason my name is what it is on this board. Believe it or not The only reason I got the Soyo rebate is because of this board and a Soyo rep that visited here. Took 8 months to get that one after much hassle. Would have done the same thing with Sapphire but I have misplaced the copies I made so I'm SOL on this one.

Employee discount on video cards is pretty small. Trust me.
