Sapphire X1900GT $290 shipped @ZZF

Price wise right now the 1800xt is a better deal- even the 256mg version of the 1800xt should half better benchmarks.

ATI as stopped production of the 1800xt so prices should even get better. I would hold off on the 1900gt right now- only thing that is hopeful for this card is that there could be some driver issues causing performance problems- the last catalyst drivers came out over a month ago- well before this card.

My advice- wait for the next ati driver updates before purchasing this to see how it performs
 
Look at that review. the X1900GT underperforms the X1800XT in every case, sometimes by a wide margin. There are a few cases where it outperforms the 7900GT (reference clock), but is almost always the laggard.

While the X1800XT is available it is a much better deal. Either the 256 or the 512 meg model. The 7900GT would for less $ is the second best deal.

The X1900GT should only be considered if some models unlock to full 16 pipelines.
