sapphire hd 5830 or sapphire hd 7750

Performance is pretty close to each other. Heat and power consumption will be a lot better on the 7750 and I would assume noise would also be. Is there a reason why the option is one of these two particular cards? A hard limit budget? There are a few options right at the $100 in the 260x/265/270 cards.

Your CAD program better with OpenCL or CUDA?

OpenCL, go 7750 (or similar)
CUDA, go geforce GTX 750/TI

Can you elaborate why you are constraining your choice to these two specific cards?

It just seems that you might want to reconsider what to choose, depending on how flexible you are with your price.

Gaming wise, the 5830 should be faster than the 7750, until you hit the 1GB VRAM limit on it.

well i have very low budget for graphics card rightnow as my 4850 burned right away and these 2 are the only ones that i can get with that low budget. But if u have an advice on what to buy apart from these, will be happy to hear ;p

Are you buying these in the US, from online retailers like Newegg, Amazon, TigerDirect, etc.?

Also, is $75 as much as you can spend, or can you go to maybe $100 if the value is good?

I've owned a 5830, and it's good but uses lots of power and makes lots of heat.
