Sapphire 9800 np Manuals

yea, i saw that too.

I know ATI doesn't make a 9800 np, but they don't even have the manuals for the Pros. Sapphiretech.com however has nothing about anything, i mailed them and asked them whats up, but i figure that will take a while.

Well, maybe someone out there can answer my question...Do i hook up this card directlly to the powersupply. It came OEM and it had powersupply cord already plugged into it and hanging off of it. It just seems like alot of power going directlly into my new card, just making sure.

Thanks.

Plug it in using one of the same connector that would go to your hard drives or cd-rom. Then you can use the other end since it's a Y connector to power your hard drive etc... or
just don't connect the extra end.

Did you get a driver disk?
If you have the same driver disk as me, look in <x>:\online\Eng\Rade9800.pdf

PM me if you want me to e-mail it to you.

EDIT: oops, I guess they only discuss software there. Sorry. Yes, you have to use that power cable.

Ok, i pluged it in and fired it up. Nothing wrong with board....but it wouldn't even let me into BIOS because of chassi intrusion feature, over to the MoBo fourm i go....

I have the retail version of the Atlantis 9800 non-pro and did not receive a manual with it. Just the card, S-video cable, some kind of DVI adapter, s-video to composite adapter and a CD. Didn't even notice no manual, it only cost $10 more than OEM, OEM happened to be out of stock.
