Was out of stock for a long time. I'm gonna order one if it is 8 pin plus 6 pin. Seem to see conflicting reports.

My friend ordered 3 of these last week, all 3 are 8+8pin. kinda screwed us on the PSU side.
only came with a single 2x 4pin molex to 8pin adapter per box as well.

Can two molex even power an 8 pin? I thought molex was 60 watts. 6 pin is 75 watts and 8 pin is 150 watts. I can see how 2 molex can handle 75 watts but 150 watts??

If so great because I have a 8 pin on my PSU and nothing hooked to two seperate molex chains.

I bought one a few weeks ago and was also surprised at the 2 x 8 pin pci-e setup. It's a good card but the cooler is a little louder then I expected. I think the default fan profile may be too aggressive. Voltage control also works in Afterburner but my card proved to be a pretty poor OCer.

Anyway if you have 1 x 8 pin and 1 x 6 pin on your psu you can buy a 6pin to 8pin adapter and likely won't run into an issue.

I have one 8 pin and that's it. EA650 so it should handle the power if the molex wires don't burn up.

What was your OC results? The 7970 was only 800 MHz at launch and this one is already running 1ghz. What would be an solid OC? Btw is the voltage locked?

Voltage isn't locked. It took me a little over 1.2v to stabilize at 1100mhz core. I'm not complaining overall but its a lot worse than what other people have reported. I don't like the whole ASIC value thing but mine was really low like 55%.

All the miners are snapping them up :D.

yep the sapphires are really good for mining. sell the games get 40 bucks so the card runs for 339. under clock to 1 volt and run 950 mhz

do memory 1.5 volts and 710

it hashes in the high 500's runs cool and quiet a very good mining card.

well I pulled the trigger. Added the lg bluray burner thats on sale and 16gb of jag saw ram to replace my 4 Gb 1.65v corsair 7-8-7-20. Really hated to get slower ram but its impossible to find any that matches. Shot my wad for the day
