SAP?

I'm currently working for a temp agency and they called me with a position today doing "statistical analysis" using a program called SAP. Anyone ever heard of it? I've been trying to find it online but I can't find anything of the like. I'd like to be able to read up on it at least a little bit before going in for my first assignment.

SAP is an enterprize level ERP/Financials package, it's probably the most popular ERP software with large manufacturing and project management companies right now. The company I work for is currently migrating to SAP R/3, and my last engagement as a consultant prior to taking my current job was an SAP R/3 implementation.

SAP's strongest asset is it's reporting abilities, the number of reports and reporting variations is mind boggling. And most of the standard reports can be downloaded to an excel spreadsheet or an access database for further manipulations and calculations.

I would first ask if they are seeking specific SAP knowledge, because if they are your learning curve would be too steep for a temp assignment. But if they are just looking for someone to take specific outputs and crunch them in excel or access they may not care if you have prior SAP exerience

If you take the assignment and have specific questions about the software hit me up on PM
