I'm looking to replace my old phone with this model. Does anyone use this phone or have nay experience with it? My service provider is Sprint PCS. Any other reccomendations for an under $150 cell phone? Help :gift:

i heard pretty good things about it, awesome deal for 50$ IMO. kinda flimsly looking because its so thin i would think...but ive never had one.

and yeah, sanyo > samsung on reception w/ the sprint network.

id either get the 6400 or the 4900.

cessna: i bought a sanyo 8100 @ staples, and used a $30 off $150 coupon (which you can find online floating around...).

Total cost was $170 + tax (existing customer).

I know its $20 more than your $150 limit, but that $20 extra is well worth it in my opinion.

FYI, they actually RAISED the price of the 8100 to 229$, check out the sprint site.

not sure if its hit local retailers yet, but yeah.

I have a 6400 and I really like it. It has really good reception and the battery life was more than I was expecting. And it's thin and light

The 6400 is a nice phone but I had two issues with it. The thing heats up when you're talking. I used my infared thermometer to measure the earpiece temp at about 100F!! And for me, the phone was a bit too narrow for my hand for text messaging and such. Otherwise, great phone. I think I saw that the Hitachi P300 ~$30 at my local Sprint store but I didn't ask about that price. That is also a really good phone.
