SANS Network.

A newbie setting up an all switched SAN network. Are you serious? How many hundred thousand dollars do you have? PP is your best crack at SAN for a newbie.
 
I work for a very good company, and i am an intern, and my boss likes me very much, anytime we get new equipment, he lets me play around with it first, to config and ......, this way i can impress him what i can and can't do, so i am learning. We got the SANS from DELL and DELL oems. so we didn't get much instructions.
 
Dell makes SAN stuff????!!!! Wonder who the oem from.

Try calling dell or searching their site for info to setup. Looks like pretty simple stuff so hopefully you won't have too much trouble getting it going.
 
iwish it was that easy, but it's not couldn't find much info, we hooked up the sans to our NT box, we followed some instaructions to install the software in following pattern, at first it read all the drives in san, but now pooffff, it doesn't read anymore.
