Sandwich Spread

Anyone have any good sandwich spreads/toppings, that aren't sweet, and don't require sandwhich meat?

Trying to think of something good I can put on a sandwich that doesn't require going to the grocery store to get meat.

Get some with roasted red peppers, or make your own.

Also, for the French Canadian in me, pâté is delicious on toast.

my grampa ate those all the time! called em blood sammiches. arent too bad, but still weird. i attribute that sammich to him growing up in the depression years.
