Sandisk unveils Extreme III CF, SD & MS...20MB/sec write, 18MB/sec read

not until now did I realize why it took my camera a bit of time to ready for the next pic. I always thought it was because it was re-charging the flash...

Yes they need to work on the speed for sure.

Damn sandisk 512MB SD card is about as fast as a floppy on my Axim. Installing software is painfully slow.
