Besides this drive is too slow. It would be awesome when 1 TB Evo comes down to 150 and 2 TB Evo to under 300.

Its not that bad. I transferred 300GB to it and it was writing at about 300 MB/s. They were all game files so it was a good mix of small and big files. Reads are over 530MB/s. Writes are no doubt slower than an EVO, but it also costs considerably less. For what I'm using the drive for its perfectly fine.
