SanDisk Sansa Fuze 1.9" Black 2GB MP3 - $29.99 + FS

It's a recertified unit, but @ $30 and FS you can't go wrong with this as a small gift for someone. I own one and it's probably one of the best little mp3 players Sandisk has thrown out there. They've taken a lot of feedback from their mistakes made on previous players and this is nearly the whole package.

Pop in a cheap 4gb microSD card for $10 and you've got a 6GB player for $40. The Fuze does support SDHC cards. I love my 8gb Fuze. 🙂

4GB Fuze owner here. I threw in a 4GB microSD card almost immediately after I got the thing. It's still very limited on space though...I'm going to have to spring for a 120GB, full sized one sometime.

i have a 4gb model and paid $75 for it, and love it. this is a good deal, just add a cheap SDHC card and enjoy the thing. plays flac and ogg as well, for those who care.

kinda tempted.. how is it as a video player? I wonder how watchable a 1.9'' screen is @ 220x176. Everything needs to be re-encoded I assume?

It's laggy at best. The audio is almost always ahead of the video for me. I guess it's fine if you just use it on the toilet or something.
