Sandisk memory date issue

I have an LCD night vision cctv in car dvr accident camera video recorder. When looking in to deleting whats on the memory that's installed in Sandisk card the dates showing are not the the dates they should be. The dates are showing 19th October 2015.

How can I get the dates to show trhe relevant dates from now on after I format Sandisk card?

Set your date and time properly on your recording device? The card itself has no concept of date + time, it's just a linearly-addressed group of storage blocks. The filesystem sitting on top of that layer, has metadata that records date + time on files, but that depends on the device that the card is plugged into.
