I also want to know your experiences with this drive. Have you had this drive fail on you? I read a few reviews at Amazon and it's kinda making me sway away from buying this drive. It says that the drive failed many people. They are reviewing the 512mb version of this drive though, not the 1GB. The 1GB version has nothing but 5 star reviews.

Does anyone know if it will fit into the front USB port of the Dell Optiplex GX270?

I use this computer at school and I need this MINI to fit into the front USB port. It goes in at an angle. I bought the iPod shuffle thinking it would work, it didn't. For some reason at that angle it wouldn't go in. Please, if anyone has a Micro and has tested it with a Dell Optiplex GX270, can you let me know if it goes in at an angle and if it actually notices it? I don't want to have to plug it in in the back due to my forgetfulness. I might forget about it and lose $.

We have those bases at work, it *does* fit, but it's snug, I have 2 512mb Cruzers and they dont even like going into the back of my MS keyboard.

But Windows will see the drive right? Cuz my shuffle wasn't even able to make communication with the computer due to the width of the base.

I have a micro 256mb and it has worked flawlessly if that helps at all. I'm sure the 512 and 1gb will work fine too, though I've heard the titanium is a better buy.

I've got the 1GB Cruzer. I've had random issues. But basically it works fine.

Sometimes my PCs won't reboot with the Cruzer installed... sometimes they will. I'm running Windows 2000 and XP Pro.

The little 128mb Verbatim "Store N Go" that I used to have worked flawlessly.
