Amazon has the Sandisk Ultra II 512 CF cards for 108.99 with free shipping. There is a $20 rebate as well (rebate is for $15 for 256 Ultra II).

Edit:
As noted below, the rebate link on the page has april dates on it, here is the link to the proper rebate

I didn't even notice that the one the one for the CF card was for puchases made before 4/18. There hope there is a new one though because I looked at the cards yesterday and there was no mention of rebate, it just appeared today. Even without the rebate its a pretty good price, BestBuy wants $199 for the 512.

How can that be? You have a 12X card and it can write faster than the Ultra II which is 60X?????

I tested it with a co worker, one sandisk regular, one viking regular and the Ultra II
same camera - same settings - sami pic - and by fat leterally 1/2 the time to write
the same file.

I recommen the Ultra II to anyone - I have the 256 but I am on the look out for the 512

Different cameras have different implementations of flash reading/writing algorithms. On my Canon Powershot G5, the Ultra II is slower than a regular Kingston flash card. Just because it works well in one camera doesn't mean it will work the same way in ANY camera.

This looks like a good deal, i just got the 256 for $56 from newegg but i would rather have the 512. I also have the 4gb hitachi microdrive .

Think all Canon digicams would be similar? In particular, the G2 or S410?
Have you tested a Viking 16x?

This is a good deal...But what's goin on with the rebate? I don't wanna order one unless there is an actual rebate for the card...

They are fixing it (confirmed by me personally by email and phone call). They said go ahead and place the order, they just need to update the page. You can even have the correct form mailed to you if you want.
