Does anybody have any experience with one of these? I've got a $20 coupon that'll knock the price down to $79.94 so I'm considering it. It seems like a great idea.

Thanks for the reply, but that link is not for the same product. I'm interested in the card that converts to a USB 2 drive (see the picture in my link). Newegg isn't selling it. I did a google, but I haven't found any reviews I can trust.

it's an excellent idea, but it costs almost 2x as much. I think it's cheaper just to get a memory reader.

Newegg charges 88.25 for this SD ultra II card alone. After rebate, it's only 12.00 more for this Plus version.
Chief Value - 87.99
BananaPC 82.50
zipzoomfly - 79.99

From steves-digicams.com
From his website:

"SD cards range in size from 16MB up to 4GB. As with other flash media, SD cards come in different transfer speed ratings. Most SD cards not marked "High Speed" or "Ultra High Speed" are probably only ~2Mb/s capable. The latest cards are capable of transferring data at up to 20Mb/s such as the ATP 150x or Pretec 133x cards. Transfer speed is an important factor if you record high framerate motion video or high quality audio tracks. Many digital camera makers only certify their 30fps VGA motion video capability when using "high speed" SD cards. "

It would be nice to have an even faster card than the one in this post, but my problem is when I want to show some people my pictures they don't have an SD reader. This makes that moot. Newegg does have some of the faster ones pretty cheap though. Of course even with my current card (which is the same speed as the one in this post) I get good VGA video.
