Sanders vs Trump debate could be happening

Then they wake up and realize what they'll cost and say fvck no. Part of being a grownup is realizing that fairy tales are exactly that and no rich Prince Charming is coming around to rescue you.

Yes, but Trump has a rather large border-long Fairy Tale that his supporters seem to drool over.
They also think that a very rich (unconfirmed) Prince Haircut is indeed coming around to rescue them.

It seems that all voters are sleeping and simply refuse to realize anything.

The difference is there is a sizable group of conservatives that know that Trumps delusions are just that. Even Glenn Beck and Limbaugh think he is full of shit.

Oh, I have no doubt that we have the technical ability to build a really long wall although I have no misconceptions that it would be fit for its intended purpose of actually reducing illegal immigration. In some ways it might just be easier to build it regardless though because its supporters seem to have its construction as a prerequisite to turning their brains back on again. That way we can say "OK we spent the $x billion and built your wall and it doesn't work, now what?"

People who get fixated on their one magic bullet "solution" are annoying but what can you do? Same thing happens on the both sides, for example on the left it seems like lots have shut their brain off and won't start thinking again until we "tax the rich" for whatever good that will do. It's simply a voodoo talisman that they can't let go regardless of it being a false solution.

That isn't why they don't like him, though. They don't like him because he doesn't blindly support all the great citizen-fucking GOP policies they want implemented. They can't say that though, so they need to attack him for his dishonesty. If he got in line to do their bidding, suddenly they'd be telling you that attacks on his honesty are nothing more than partisan spin.

And some who worked for Hillary say she's not exactly an angel either...

This sort of thing probably comes up for a lot of people in high leadership roles. Even if they're not really very mean people there's bound to be some among the many who have worked with them who have been left with a bad impression. And the media will always find the most negative voices to sensationalize.

Socialism is coercion. Socialism is forcing the mass of people to conform to the collective. Socialism is command economies, command labor, command compliance with every dictate and order from the government. Socialism allows no one left alone to do anything individual.

Sanders has a well-earned reputation as an ol' Bolshevik bastard. In the name of his outdated ideology, Sanders has unabashedly supported some squalid dictators in their tyrannical efforts to corral, control and politically correct all the people. He has never renounced his past transgressions against the American way nor publicly expressed regret for supporting murderous governments. Given the pornographic ugliness of Sanders' politics, no one should feel shocked a stodgy Stalinist socialist sociopath should also prove a mean, nasty, annoying little man.

This should be funny to watch; a debate between two empty suits that advance sweeping, populist ideas but have presented no actual concrete plans on how to go about accomplishing said ideas.

The moderators would dumb down the debate format to minimize topics of substance, so most Americans would barely notice.

Shocker

Now I'm going to have to hear a guy at my work who loves everything Trump now backpedal about how awesome this debate was supposed to be, while I kept saying it was pointless and he [Trump] will just wait to debate Clinton.

He's got nothing to gain by debating the guy who is not going to be the nominee. I'm sure he would debate Hillary, but I'm also sure it would be her that will decline.

THE DEBATE "could" still happen... if Sanders beats Hillary.

I don't know.... but I have had this weird feeling for some time now that Sanders will actually become the party candidate, and our next president.
Something is going to happen.
I have this feeling that something is going to happen to Hillary, and not necessarily anything concerning emails or servers. Something else. Some unknown factor.

I see Sanders as the challenger going one on one against Trump.
And Sanders elected as the next president.
All for reasons unknown at this point in time.

Something else is in the mix. Some weird twist in the making.
I don't know what, but its as if this Bernie Sanders presidency is destine to happen.
Forces beyond our control taking charge.

Guess we'll find out if my ESP is working.

I had this same feeling about SS marriage surviving the US Supreme court, and Obamacare surviving the court and surviving all the republican challenges.
With republicans controlling nearly everything and the court so far right conservative, still SS marriage won out and Obamacare survived.
As if the good destine to trump over the evil when the common good of the people is involved.
As if the founding fathers are looking out to stopping those that would discredit the blood spilled giving birth to freedom and America.
I have this same feeling that president Bernie Sanders is to be our destiny.
That the very spirit of the founding fathers lives within Sanders, and in the end Sanders will triumph.

So Freedumb, right?

Speaking of outdated ideology, how's that trickledown workin' for everybody?

I'm sure it seemed like a good idea at the time for Trump, someone who speaks a lot without thinking much.

"Hey, me and Bernie will gang up on Hillary since we both are opposed to her!" A lot of the Bernie Bros and Trump supporters thought the same thing.

Then came the realization to Trump and his camp that Trump is everything that Bernie has been ranting against: a misogynistic, racist, one percenter who pays very little or nothing in taxes because he can take advantage of every singly deduction and loophole in the book.

It's possible that Bernie would have spent his time trying to grab the nomination. It's more likely, I think, that he would have spent the entire debate blasting Trump and his ilk.
