Did I hear that right, that the polymers expanded to 200% their volume? So the bags would still be 50% the size of a sandbag when dehydrated? Thats not saving too much space for storage if so....

If that's the case, it's still about the combined benefit of less mass/weight to tote around.

The bags he shows are flat. That polymer compacts down really well.

If they're expanding by 200% then the bags would be about 33% the size of a normal sandbag, not 50%

I'm wondering if this polymer is similar to what is used in disposable diapers? Also, so what if these lose their salinity after use, reload them with salt afterward which should actually help them dry out, sanitize them against bacteria, etc. Salt is cheap and readily available.

First and foremost...that kids voice is like nails on a chalkboard!


That said, I see what that kid is doing in the 5th grade and then I look at my kids lol and they have no motivation to something like that...not even the slightest!

I am a terrible parent!
