I went to a place that served Habanero fritters, and if you could eat all five you got your picture on the wall. They were pretty hot, but was able to finish them. Thought I was in the clear when I left. Oh I couldn't have been more wrong.
Yeah.. the real pain from the great balls of fire at Salvador Mollys comes later..

Burning going in, burning going out!

Did you do the ol' wax the mouth trick ala Homer and the chili?

ALWAYS follow a hot, spicy meal with ice cream...that way, the next morning when your bung hole is on fire, you can say "HURRY UP ICE CREAM!"
Heh... kidding aside, the protein in dairy and eggs, binds to the capsaicin and decreases its effect, all the way through your digestive system.

It is least effective with raw peppers because your digestive system is still breaking those down when it has finished digesting the dairy or egg white.

Super hot pepper omelette is wonderful for this reason, can use enough peppers to get the taste instead of just the burn. Just cut the peppers in very fine/thin strips instead of the bigger hunks you might with lesser peppers.
