It's more appropriate than naming a library for him, that's for sure. ;)

SF should be careful not to jinx things. Next thing you know this plant might take a cue from it's namesake and staff itself with only the most unqualified or criminally inept employees possible. Or it could decide to take a 50yr stride backwards in it's regard for the environment. Who's gonna be laughing when SF proper smells like GWB's record?

Yup.

They should name a sewage pumping station after him and his entire administration.

...
The renaming would take effect on Jan. 20, when the new president is sworn in. And regardless of the measure?s outcome, supporters plan to commemorate the inaugural with a synchronized flush of hundreds of thousands of San Francisco toilets, ...
How fitting. Probably won't be enough to clear out the heartburn though.

Thinking about this further, I think I have to agree. Even a sewage plant in San Francisco is way too good to be sullied by the name of Bush.

I have empathy for the man... and since he was the President I respect him. The dynamics that created the Economic issues are quite apart from the ones that created the Mid East ones... In the former there is enough blame to go around in the latter the focus is a bit more pointed... Lies is what I'd call the War Powers Act Resolution he handed Congress and violation of UN charter based on lies makes those who conspired to this event criminal..... NO>> I'd not name a sewer plant after The President... I'd name a cell number for him... and his co-conspirators.

Yes. At least a sewage plant turns shit into something good.

Think about, San Fransisco with it large number of gay males, is a natural place. And if you asked the average gay male, who is the one person on your all time fantasy list you would like to seduce onto your side, GWB would probably win by a landslide. A real trophy wife they would kill to have, certain to make them the envy of their peer group, and the ultimate status symbol. The sun, moon , and the stars trifecta. It just does not get better than that.
