San Francisco Chronicle newspaper- $24.99 for a full year Wed-Sun

I have this deal and it's great because the delivery person manages to deliver the paper on Monday and Tuesday anyway. 😉 YMMV.
 
Wow thanks! That is a sweet deal! They must be hurting, since people like me just read our news ONLINE these days! But for this cheap of price, it's worth getting it for all the Sunday Ads & coupons alone!

FYI, if you call SF Chronicle up directly you can get the same deal. I was getting Fri-Sun for $19.99 but Wed-Sun for $24.99 is a much better deal. The website mentioned will up your subscription rate after a year.

I'm at the second year of the Friday-Sunday subscription for $19.99/yr.
For the first year, they gave me $10 Safeway gift card when I provide them my credit card info for auto renew in the future. I was worried they will charge full price at the second year but I only being charged for the same rate, $19.99/yr.

Like geoffkin mentioned above, the Sunday ad and coupon alone worth the $0.38 a week subscription.
 
I think you can get this same deal for $10 for a full year...There is a sales guy outside of walgreens in the financial district (corner of front and sacramento st) that always tries to sell me a full subscription to SF Chronicle for $10 / year.
 
I had the $19.99 for a year deal and got a call from them a few weeks ago. They said their charge to my credit card (for renewal) was turned down.

I was annoyed because I never authorized them to continue to charge to my credit card and let them know that.

They sent me the renewal paperwork and I resubscribed for another year. I had thought that the $19.99 deal was only going to be good for a year.

I don't really care much about it but my wife wants it for the Sunday paper. It's all I can manage to waste my time on the Internet and read the San Jose Mercury News but it's nice to have an additional set of many coupons.
 
I ordered the Fri, Sat, Sun deal last Wed night. Friday morning, the paper was there bright and early!! It was also there this morning (Monday)! Looks like I'm getting 7 days a week for $20! 🙂
Kinda wondering WHO they could get to deliver the paper for this cheap?! LOL

I signed up on the phone.

The guy made a pretty convincing point when he said, "Hey, if you just buy one Sunday paper for the month, you've essentially paid for the entire month on our plan."
 
I got another additional paper this morning! I'm sure they have so many extra they are just giving them away! Sign up for the 3-day sub. and see what you actually get! 🙂
 
I was on the 19.99 weekend plan (friday-sunday) but this seems like a good deal. Also last time when my subscription expired they gace me a $10 starbucks card for renewing so newspaper came out to $9.99
Thay are hurting see how they just raised the price at the stands...
 
Well, I've received the Mon, Tues and Wed papers and only signed up for the 19.99, Fri-Sun!!
7-days for the price of 3 for the first week at LEAST! 🙂
