The sound in the game is very choppy. When I shoot a gun it sounds very strange, almost like the sound is cutting out. I have DirectX 9.0c, but I can't update my sound card. I've tried with many different driver but they all say that my card isn't found. If anyone knows a way to fix this please help. Thanks.
 
Well, I know that it is my crappy SBlive card, because when I hooked up my board's AC97 sound it worked fine. What is a fairly inexpensive sound card that has 5.1 capability that can replace my old one?
