I use an olympus e-pl1 for real estate (mostly apartments, i.e. indoors vs outdoor building shots) and love it, but it's a tad too bulky for client facing days. I'd like to get a small, sub-$300 digital camera to keep with me in my messenger bag for days I also have appointments (i.e. days I leave my big backpack full of gear at my office and put on a tie), but can't justify spending too much since it's just a convenience at this point.
Which camera would you recommend? Here's my blog for a reference of the kind of photos I take - I'm DEFINITELY not a professional and I don't need megazoom, 1,000 megapixels or any other features, mostly need a wide lens and a camera that produces decent low light pictures:
