I just saw this on The Inquirer
http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=21168

Of course, it is The Inquirer so it might be a load of b.s. - but if not then the price of that shiney Corsair XL everyone so loves is going to skyrocket.

If you want 2-2-2-5 ram now is the time to get it if that artical is accurate...

But if its not it won't be the first time

Just saw that myself....this is no good. I already have my TCCD, but its still good stuff. There is however another DDR400 2-2-2-5 solution. Crucial Ballistix uses Micron chips, not TCCD. I have never used it, but by the looks of it, it OCes decent. I have heard its a bit more picky that TCCD though.

Samsung would be foolhardy to push DDR2. AMD won't bite. Heres to a new architecture by AMD with DDR3! That would be much better.

Ay, K9 + DDR3 sounds fun. I just hope DDR3 has some sensible latencies...

Just it nit pick the Crucial stuff runs at 2-2-2-6 appartently, but seeing as 2-2-2-10 is faster on AMD it doesnt really matter.

But tbh I've never liked Micron - they are just a bit TOO commercial and not enough hardware passion. Its like bying a dell motherboard...it works but its not got the soul of performance. Anyone understand me? 😛
