This is an OfficeDepot B&M deal. It doesn't show up on OfficeDepot's website and I've seen this at two different OfficeDepot stores in Fort Worth, TX. I'm posting the TigerDirect link so you can look at this monitor with TV tuner for reference.

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...y=REVIEWS#tabs

Use StormSides $10 off $25 from this link which is good for tech:
http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2077233

and purchase it for $259.99 plus tax.

It has a 3 year mfg. warranty.

The bad - OfficeDepot only has a 14 day exchange policy on this monitor/TV. So if for some reason you don't like this montor, you can only either exchange for a different monitor or get store credit.

Hmm... how's the input lag on this screen?

5ms, which isn't bad. Actually I think this is a better monitor than it is a TV. The picture looks great connected to the HDMI of my PC. For TV I only have it hooked to an in room antenna. The picture is good but would be better if I had it connected to a larger external antenna, or hooked to a cable box / DirecTV.

That's not input lag, that's response time. Totally different things. My 46" B750 has a 2ms response time but ~60ms of input lag.

Sorry, I didn't bring the manual to work with me this morning. I'll look up the specs on input lag this evening and post what it says.

"This item is currently unavailable".

Yes, I know, I used the TigerDirect link as a reference only. It is not listed on the OfficeDepot website. This is an OfficeDepot brick and mortar (B&M) in store deal.

I got one of these a few months ago and love it. It replaced a Dell 2405 and I have not regretted the switch. This monitor has 1920x1200 resolution and the new Samsung models coming out only have 1080. The TV picture on HD channels is fantastic and the monitor on DVI is great also. These are on clearance and are mostly gone from the local OD's. I wish I had the cash to get another before they are all gone.

It would be nice if that was in there, but it probably isn't. If you do happen to find it, let me know!

To my understanding the Samsung ToC series have really good input lag, when it DOES NOT have the TV tuner built in. This has a TV Tuner so im positive you'll have a couple frames of input lag.

Hmm, I wonder why? What exactly does the tuner do that causes the lag? I could understand if it had some kind of image processing stuff (i.e. AMP) going on, but if the tuner isn't in use, why would it affect the input lag?

Not arguing here, just curious.

I got the 21.5 version to use as the secondary monitor on my desk and as a tv. It's a tn panel so doesn't hold up nearly as well as an ips, but the picture is pretty decent and it does a good job for tv (which is what I use mine for 80% of the time).
