Not to threadjack, but IMO, this 19" LCD (8ms; 700:1 contrast; DVI-D + D-Sub) pwns that Samsung.

We just got it at work, & it's gorgeous :D

That brighter type screen is just beauitful; you have to see it to appreciate it.

Great, where did you buy it from? Thanks

hehe, it's funny, that's exactly what i was gonna post... (i work at FS too :p)
as for the price, it's 50 bucks more than the samsung, but you get a 50$ mail in rebate, so it sort of evens out

as in where do I work? at Future Shop, www.futureshop.ca
think of it as a canadian best buy with somewhat slightly more knowledgeable staff (altough ever since best buy bought future shop this trend is slowly changing)

but ya, I was saying that we sell the NEC 1970GX for 50 dollars more (at 650 CAD$) but with a 50 mail in rebate, whereas the samsung 915n is 600 with no rebate.

Yes because everyone wants to stare at a mirror all day.

Anti-glare coatings were made to minimize glare and now these "Super Bright"!! monitors are designed to increase glare.

I don't know if you've noticed, but even with a white screen you can see your reflection in these x-brite type screens. It's a step backwards if anything.

I just picked up the 915n from Newegg and let me tell you...DVI or no...it rocks.

Oh, and by the way n7, the 915n has the 700:1 contrast ratio also. the only thing it doesn't have is the DVI, but honestly, it doesn't matter. The NEC doesn't "pwn" the Samsung. And please, stop with the idiot l33t-speak. It went out in the 80's.
