I have DVI at work and analog at home. I can't tell the difference. A lot of people can, though.

yea i have my projector hooked up to vga, and before that it was hooked up to a different computer with dvi.... i can't tell the difference.

I've seen a lot of opinions about this but I am not convinced. Right now I'm running two monitors side by side, one VGA and one DVI, and no big woop. What I would take notice of though, is that samsung makes 'VGA only' models for only there worst screens.

One last insight -- even Samsung's 'worst panels' are quite good by most standards. And their 3 year warranty covers parts, labor and the backlight. Tough to beat at this price.
