Samsung SyncMaster 740BF

I don't own it, but from the technical reviews/measurements I've read, the Samsung *BF series suffer from more-than-average ghosting despite their lower response time ratings. The chip used to speed the response time up shot them in the foot when it produced artifacts.

Here are some good gaming LCDs:

NEC 90GX2
ViewSonic VX922
BenQ FP93G X (or the older FP91G+)
Samsung 740B (not 740BF)

That (Samsung 204B) would be a reasonably decent gaming LCD as well, and it's honestly priced. However the widescreen ViewSonic VX2025WM would be faster.

am i going to see all those lines when im playing a game?
and what does
"rendu jeu, au mieux" returned play, at best and "rendu jeu, au pire" returned play, in the worst case

You will see the "at best" image the majority (I'll say 80%) of the time. The "at worst" image may not even bother you, you'll have to see for yourself. No, the lines are from the macro photo (close up of the TFT matrix). Well, some people can see them still and that's called the screen-door effect. Most people don't.
