Samsung SSD life statistics now reportable from Magician 3.2

I'm certainly not one of these people who is concerned about my SSD life but Samsung SSD owners will know that normal SSD life type reporting tools don't work on our drives.

I was reading the release notes for Magician 3.2 just to see if anything other than 840 series support was added and they have added this:

It's certainly not a very sophisticated implementation of life and diagnostics but it's better than nothing. The next question is what is the difference between life and status? 😕
 
Status would be how many cells are still functional, Lifetime would be the countdown of doom. Luckily these drives are supposed to last twice as long as most.
 
And, if S.M.A.R.T. is disabled, then you won't get that info.
