Anyway, OD B&M have it on $99 clearance.

Good phone but isnt made anymore i got mine for 80 but that was with activation

This would be hot with a 20 dollar off coupon, It may be time to upgrade my a460. My car adapter will work so this will be sweet.

As a long, long long time sprint user, I would suggest noone buy a samsung phone. Compare a sanyo and samsung side by side for signal reception and clarity, and you won't buy a samsung either.

Its not a hot deal if it is a 100% POS. Remember that.

How do you try them both out?

Easy, buy them both, call sprint pcs customer service all you want from locals you are likely to use your phone, then return the POS.

Yep, I have an A460 and I can attest to these samsungs getting really poor reception. I'm waiting until the 24th and then I'll start looking at Sanyos or a new carrier.

I was ready to leave sprint before I realized that sprint wasn't crappy, but samsung was.

I realized this after going back to a 3 year old sanyo phone the size of a dumpster. Althought it was big, heavy, and could be used as a pocket warmer, the signal was 100x better than with the newer samsung I had been using. So I went out and got a sanyo 4900, best phone i ever had, and I was pleased with sprint again.

Personally sprint is shooting themselves in the foot by offering mostly samsungs inferior product. Sure samsungs have lots of nifty features, that why I bought one, but I didn't know at the time that they sucked so bad at doing what they should do.

old samsungs have bad reception. New ones have great reception, even compared alongside Sanyo's. The A500 was a bad phone when it first came out, if u get a newer one they have good reception. Sister has one and it works great.

new samsungs have better reception than their A500 class of phone, but still not as good as sanyo. i live in san clemente, ca, a city with very poor sprint coverage. my sanyo 5300 beats the reception of my brother's new A620 (camera phone) and my roommate's new i500 (PDA phone). i have to admit--the samsungs are sexier than my clunky sanyo, but mine just works better. they admit it too--fewer dropped calls and stronger reception in patchy areas. if only samsung would take the camera from the A620, the PDA of the i500, and a memory card slot together, then i would suffer their sh*tty reception for one power-packed phone.

Still not a bad deal for a nice phone. Even comes with $35 rebate if you get a contract. Add in a coupon that you could possibly and makes for a excellent deal. Thanks.
