That's not good. My 840 suddenly stop working, and Magician couldn't see it either. Sadly I fear the worst for you. Were you the original owner of the drives, or did you get them used?yes.... Magician not recognize the disk :-(

I looked at this Samsung webpage, and they didn't have the PM1723b listed. Should I have looked elsewhere?Magician does not work on PM series.

You may need to use the enterprise edition:

Tool & Software Download | Samsung Semiconductor Global
Download various software related to your product, including Samsung Magician, designed for use with Samsung's memory products, and find related information.semiconductor.samsung.com
However again, i could not get it to install, as its a wierd 3.3MB file, i think you may need to put the file inside magician directory, and run that exe instead of the default one
Maybe @Billy Tallis can help, he seems to like correcting me, so maybe he can tell us what were doing wrong in trying to install that enterprise edition magician.

Yup, Magician won't work.Consumer drives can not be detected on enterprise software, so i am assuming its gonna be vice versa on consumer software not showing enterprise class drives.
Makes sense!Well either way im pretty sure its a enterprise class nvme.
Because i have one in a different family. lol.
