Thought that this was interesting news. I remember the "Samsung Magic RAM" from the early DDR3 days. Maybe this will be a repeat?

This is exciting news.
This will essentially be the first wave of the next gen ddr4

“1xnm is anything between 16nm to 19nm, 1ynm is defined as 14nm to 16nm. 1znm is defined by 12nm to 14nm.”
I'm guessing this will be classified as 1y
Their magic mem "30nm class" was rumoured to be equivalent to about 36nm if I remember right.

As everything keeps getting smaller and smaller, I worry about how reliable they still will be in time.
