This is before US carriers cripple it though. :(

Of course, if the Tegra2-based LG actually appears, the 1.2ghz single core may seem slow.

1080p recording suggests it's "Orion" which is the next gen dual core Cortex A9.

That said, the pictures look so fake.

Looks promising. Something I'd consider selling my Evo for. I'd definitely like a 4.5" screen.

This time, though, I will be shopping on battery life!

Phones mid 2011 are gonna be pretty insane. Enjoy the phones you have now.

My dream phone would be a 4.3" SAMOLED Retina phone.

G2 now runs Cyanogenmod, a big plus in its favor. :p

Yeah I know, itll be cheaper for me plus it runs on tmo HSPA+ which I have in my area. I cant help but think there will be something a lot better right around the corner though :( lol.

looks like an iphone 4... And samsung's new touchwiz somewhat reminisces iOS as well... I guess the pattern goes like this:

Apple designs/invents something >>>> Everyone else copies and *tries* to make it better. >>>> Microsoft is trying desperately to break this "Apple copycat" syndrome that most smartphone manufacturers are stuck on.

I hate to admit it, but the iPhone really is the leader in innovation not only in design, but software as well. Everything gets compared to the iphone!

Looks like a cross between an iPhone4 and a ZuneHD. Not that thats a bad thing.

Please can everyone else do this as well. Phone hardware is way powerful enough. There needs to be some optimising and power saving going on, not just upping the power of the device to make the code run faster.

Edit:

Update: We're confident that the above slide comes from Samsung, but one of the pictures therein is most definitely not of a new Samsung phone -- but rather a VoIP handset by Apiotek from several years ago. Considering the image in question pops up right away in a Google Image search for "ultra slim phone," we're inclined to think Samsung got a little hasty putting together the PowerPoint this time round.

Lol looks like they didn't copy Apple or Microsoft.

I think I've been spoiled with the iPhone4's battery life as I'm not sure how I would switch to another device with battery life like the EVO. The iPhone4's battery life is phenomenal and at no point in time I felt like I can't use my phone to its full potential because of its battery life.

If I wanna stream a 2hr movie, I can actually do that without worrying.

No, I want dumbphone battery life in a smartphone. Or I want the manufacturers to t least aim for that.

Not sure why everyone likes these 4"+ phones. They fit awkwardly in the pocket. My iPhone 4 is right about the right size...and sometimes I wish it were a hair smaller. I could probably go up to about 3.7" or so.

I think right at 4" is the best size. Any bigger and it becomes much less of a one-handed thing, if you know what I mean.
