Looking for the answer to this. What is the difference between the Samsung 860 EVO 1TB MZ-76E1T0E vs MZ-76E1T0B/AM?

OEM vs Retail?

One of them I can get cheaper so if it doesnt affect warranty or anything else, I will get the cheaper one.

In general when 2 seemingly identical drives have wildly different search statistics the one with the higher number of search results is the consumer version and the one with a lower number of search results is the one that comes preinstalled on prebuilt systems.

based on the pictures listed on sellers sites, samsung's site, and the ones i recently received from CDW. I got the E models from CDW and they're white boxed. CDW doesn't even list the B versions. Also got E versions of the 970 evo. I'm thinking the E versions are more OEM parts vs standard retail. newegg and amazon only seemed to have the E versions on third party sellers.

I can't say for sure, this is just my guess based on observation. Oh, i only ordered the 250 GB 860 evos so i can't compare price much.

In the past, this difference in Samsung SSD product numbers has reflected just a packaging difference, with the SSD itself and the warranty terms being the same.
