Thanks. My Samsung ML-1210 was starting to crap out (toner refilled one too many times, I guess) and it would be cheaper to buy another printer now than a replacement drum.

Hey Guys,

I need some help, I bought this pritner from Staples about 13 days today or tommorrow will be 14. I just set it up at home and it worked fine when I printed, I knew about the noise, but what concerns me is the noise after I shutdown the computer. The noise is loud like its running or something, I tried this twice and waited a few minutes, it did not go away until I shutdown the printer itself.

Is this normal? Would I have to power off the printer after I shutdown the computer? I thought it would go in a power save mode or something, without the sound continuing.

Please help, since if I have a defective unit, I think I can return it to Staples within 14 days.
