From time to time, Staples marks this guy down to around $60 after rebate.

I have one. It's a decent printer/copier. The Linux drivers can be a pain to install on a Fedora Core 4 system (hint: use the kprinter gui app to configure the printer instead of the gnome one) but they do work. I've had mixed success getting the scanner to work under Linux but that's likely because I didn't spend much time with it.

The toner cartridge it comes with is a starter kit which means you'll get around 1000 pages. You can refill it, though, for about $10 and get another ~3000 pages out of it.

 
I have this multi-function as well. It's a nice laser printer & the ability to quickly run copies off it as a copy machine is really handy.
