MS has been doing this battle for a very long time and with no positive outcome. Surface RT isn't doing quite well when it only sold 1 million units as of Q4 2012. In contrast, iPad sold 20 million units in the same time period, do the math. To make matters worse, sales are usually very good during the holidays.

UBS numbers are somewhat guesses too. the fact that Ballmer wont release any numbers means its flopped. Either he would have shown numbers hitting target, and if above he would do his "dance moves" while telling how great it was. Not to mention number 2 got fired on used toilet paper.

Reminded me of this "dance". He's better off being a car salesman than a CEO at MS. 😀

He is also one of the 5 worst CEOs in 2012. Same boat as Cisco for example.
