Samsung HDTV and X600 SE

I got a sammy 40" LCD TV (4032H) connected from X600SE by DVI-HDMI cable

Resolution from windows display manager shows from 800x600 to 1920x1200

Well, I do not get video signal with anything above 1300x900 (est) and 1024*768 fits the TV screen but screen moves very slowly.

Now it's set at 800x600. PowerStrip isn't help as 1366*768 (what I think is the res of the TV) doesn't work on this screen.

I'm sure x600 radeon supports that res. Then what could be the prob?

This is very similar to my problem... I have a 37" 1366x768 Sharp and a radeon x1250 IGP... haven't gotten it figured out yet either :\

Which type of cables are you using?

I had a similar problem using component cables with my AIW X1800.

Worked perfectly once i connected it using a DVI to HDMI cable.

Getting TV to work as a PC monitor can be tricky, since TVs are not meant to be a monitor. Does that Samsung have a VGA? (I know their TVs from 2007 come equipped with at least one VGA) That's your best bet, I'm afraid.

Say it ain't so!!

I just returned VGA cable that I ordered to monoprice. Ate $5 shipping while the cable was only $5. Looks like another s&h cost for me
